New campaign will keep fans updated and engaged in department happenings
BOULDER, Colo. – With Buffs fans across the nation still buzzing about Colorado's thrilling overtime victory over Baylor on Saturday, the CU Athletic Department is launching a new campaign designed to keep fans informed and engaged in what's happening in the Athletic Department as well as throughout collegiate athletics. "Buffs United For Future Success" will consist of regular updates from Athletic Director Rick George to keep Buff Nation apprised of department successes and challenges.    Â
"It's truly an unprecedented time in college sports, with NIL, unlimited transfers, and revenue sharing, and we need the support of Buffs everywhere to keep the success we're enjoying now continuing into the future," said George. "I've partnered with CU Boulder Chancellor Justin Schwartz, CU System President Todd Saliman, and Chair of the CU Board of Regents Callie Rennison for a special video demonstrating how unified the University of Colorado is in supporting our student-athletes. Now we need fans to join us."Â
In addition to providing frequent updates, the campaign encourages supporters to make a donation to the Buff Club or the 5430 Alliance. That funding will go directly to CU student-athletes and to the programs and resources that help them achieve their very best. ÂÂ
