CU Athletics Announces New Procedures Around Fan Behavior at Folsom Field

October 06, 2025 | Football, Gameday

In an effort to improve the fan experience at CU home football games, the university and CU Athletics will be implementing the following changes for the game against Iowa State on Oct. 11.

  • Streamlined communication between fans and stadium security personnel. Fans are encouraged to text the Folsom Field Text for Assistance Line- (720) 812-1769 to report any issue.
  • Increase in security personnel throughout the stadium both inside and outside, including in the student section.
  • Plain-clothed police officers embedded in various sections throughout the stadium for immediate removals.
  • Increase in security response teams throughout the stadium.
  • Installation of new technology to proactively monitor behavior throughout the stadium.

Violations of CU's Fan Code of Conduct will result in immediate removal and possible loss of ticket privileges the remainder of the season.

Disruptive behavior, including foul, abusive, obscene or discriminatory language or gestures, as well as throwing items will result in immediate removal from the stadium. This can include entire rows or even sections if the disruptive behavior persists.

It is our goal to make Folsom Field a welcoming and inclusive place for every fan and your cooperation is appreciated.
