Buffs Close Out Fall Competition

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – The Colorado Buffaloes close the curtain on fall competition, finishing out the Bonita Bay Classic this Sunday in Florida.
Beginning the early morning of play, one doubles duo recorded a defeat for the Buffs, consisting of Lani Brotman and Pia Rebec. The pair took on opponents Ansorge and Delaney, winning a quick 6-3 set to secure the victory.
With three victories in singles, each win came from two sets or less. Rebec took on Eeva Ristola, winning 6-3, 6-1. Ema Bubalo also took a large win margin in her match, downing Mathilde Delaney, 6-1, 6-1.
Willow Gretsch captured the last victory for the Buffs, completing a successful weekend. Gretsch defeated Louise Booker with a 7-6 (7-5) first set, and then won due to retirement before the second.

With fall competition coming to a close, the Buffs will take winter break and return for a fresh slate of competition in January.
