Colorado Volleyball Announces 2025 Big 12 Schedule

The Buffs open conference play on the road in September at BYU and Utah
BOULDER – The Colorado volleyball team announced its 2025 Big 12 Conference schedule on Monday, April 21. The Buffs will play 18 conference matches in the upcoming fall season, their second season back in the Big 12.
After a competitive Colorado spring, the Buffs are ready to return to action this fall. CU opens conference play on the road against BYU and Utah on Sept. 25 and 27, mirroring the start of last season. The Buffs are 19-20 (.487) in conference openers and finished the 2024 season 152-166 (.478) in conference play.
Colorado will spend most of its time at home in October, starting off with UCF and Houston at CU Events Center on Oct. 2 and 4. After a trip to former Pac-12 foes Arizona and Arizona State (Oct. 8 and 10), the Buffs will meet the Utes for the second time on Oct. 15 and host West Virginia later that week on Oct. 18. CU splits the following week with one match in Lubbock, Texas, at Texas Tech (Oct. 22), and one match back in Boulder against Iowa State (Oct. 25). The Buffs wrap up October with Baylor at home on Halloween (Oct. 31).
November will start off with both schools in Kansas on the road on Nov. 6 (Kansas) and Nov. 8 (Kansas State). The Buffs will return home the following week for a battle with TCU (Nov. 13) and a second meeting with ASU (Nov. 15). Colorado will take its final road trip of the season on Nov. 19 and 21 to West Virginia and Cincinnati and then come home for Thanksgiving and one more match versus BYU.
The Buffs' nonconference schedule will be released at a later date. Until then, fans can view the full conference schedule here and below. All times are in Mountain and matches in bold with take place at CU Events Center.

Under ninth-year head coach Jesse Mahoney, Colorado finished the 2024 season 13-17 and went 6-12 against Big 12 opponents. After the conclusion of the regular season, sophomore OH Ana Burilovic was selected to the All-Big 12 Second Team, and sophomores DS/L Avery Bolles and OH Sydney Jordan were both named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. The Buffs registered five dominant sweeps in the 2024 season, including victories over Cincinnati (Nov. 9) and Kansas State on senior night (Nov. 27). CU also played in nine five-set matches in 2024, seeing victories over six teams and three five-set victories in a row in October – against Texas Tech on Oct. 5, at UCF on Oct. 13 and at Arizona on Oct. 16.
