Buffs Host Front Range Schools for the Coloardo Cup

Matches start at 10 a.m. on Saturday
BOULDER – The spring soccer season concludes on Saturday, when Colorado hosts the fourth spring edition of the Colorado Cup at Prentup Field.
Colorado, Air Force, Denver, Northern Colorado, Colorado College and UCCS will play to raise the Cup.
The format remains the same from the previous spring contests. Matches will consist of two 25-minute halves with games being played simultaneously. Group One will comprise of Denver, Northern Colorado and Air Force. CU, Colorado College, and UCCS will make up Group Two.
Teams get three points for a win in regulation. If a game is tied after 50 minutes, it will go to penalty kicks. Teams will get two points for a penalty kick win and one point for a penalty kick loss. The team with the most points in the group will advance to the final.
The Buffaloes have won the last three Colorado Cups and eight overall.
Parking at Prentup Field will be limited. Additional parking will be available in Lot 532 directly east of Prentup Field and the Potts Track & Field facility.
