AT&T Black & Gold Day Slated for April 11

Annual Spring Celebration to Feature Open Football Practice/Scrimmage, Lacrosse and Tennis Matches, and More!
Boulder, Colo. -- Fans will get a first glimpse of the 2026 Colorado Buffaloes football team as well as an opportunity to support two other spring programs as part of the annual AT&T Black & Gold Day, scheduled to take place on April 11. In addition to an open football practice, both the Buffs' lacrosse and tennis teams will be in action.
Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders and the Buffs had an eventful offseason, bringing in over 50 new players to help complement superb redshirt freshman quarterback Julian Lewis. The team, which begins spring practice on March 2, will host its annual open practice and scrimmage to introduce the new team to fans starting at 1 p.m. Folsom Field gates open at 11 a.m. and admission is free, but tickets must be claimed beginning on March 3 at 10 a.m.
Fans will also have the chance to see Ralphie VII make her first Black & Gold Day run, weather permitting, and there will be number of surrounding events for the community, including the annual Field Day presented by Children's Hospital Colorado, Jr. Buffs Spirit Clinic, and an opportunity to meet the team for autographs and photos.
In addition to football, fans can support the women's lacrosse team, which is off to a 2-0 start that includes taking down the nation's second-ranked team Northwestern on their field, when they take on Cincinnati at Kittredge Field at noon. The women's tennis team, which is also off to a torrid start, will be in action against TCU at the Meadows Club in Boulder starting at 2 p.m.
