SAN FRANCISCO — Former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders delivered a memorable performance Tuesday night at the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl Game, throwing two touchdown passes and completing a two-point conversion in the AFC's 66–52 flag football loss to the NFC at Moscone Center.

Sanders became the first quarterback from Colorado to start a Pro Bowl and the first former Buffaloes signal-caller to appear in the event since Kordell Stewart in 2001. He also marked Colorado's return to the league's annual showcase since 2020 when David Bakhtiari made his final of three Pro Bowl appearances.

Sanders is the first rookie to get a Pro Bowl nod since Phillip Lindsay in 2018, the season he became the first undrafted rookie on offense to make the Pro Bowl in NFL history.

Operating in the high-tempo flag football format, Sanders showcased poise and touch, delivering scoring strikes and energizing the AFC offense in the high-scoring exhibition.

The NFC erased an 18-point deficit by outscoring the AFC in the second half to secure the victory.

Sanders' is the 19th different CU player to appear in the Pro Bowl and its the 41st appearance from a former CU player in the NFL's all-star showcase.
