Buffs Get Big Signing In Noah Feddersen
April 17, 2026 | Men's Basketball
BOULDER – Noah Feddersen, the Summit League Sixth Man of the Year, has agreed to join the Colorado men's basketball program for the 2026-27 season, head coach Tad Boyle announced on Friday.
Feddersen, a 6-foot, 10-inch, 245-pound center, joins the Buffaloes after three seasons at North Dakota State, where he averaged 8.4 points and 5.0 rebounds over 99 career games, shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 71.5 percent from the free throw line.
"We need front-court players next year to step in and play," Boyle said. "Noah has experience, and to me, most importantly, he's got experience for a winning program, and he has produced."
A native of Menomonie, Wis., Feddersen averaged 9.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and just over one blocked shot per game as a fourth-year junior in 2025-26, helping the Bison sweep the Summit League regular season and tournament titles. NDSU was 27-8 overall this past season, 14-2 in the Summit League, earning the No. 14 seed in the East Region of the NCAA Tournament, falling to No. 3 Michigan State, 92-67, in a first-round game.
"Noah's got really good skills for a big guy," Boyle said. "He can put the ball on the floor, he can shoot it and he understands the game. He's got a great feel, which is something that's hard to coach, so we're really excited about him and he's going to be a key component for our team next year."
Feddersen started the first 15 games of the season, but transitioned to a bench role during Summit League play, finding a niche during the Bison's championship run. He averaged 10.9 points and pulled down 4.1 rebounds while shooting 65 percent from the field during conference action. Fedderson scored in double-figures in 18 games, which included a string of 12-straight down the stretch against league competition.
During the Summit League Tournament, Feddersen recorded a pair of double-doubles, including 11 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in the semifinal win over Omaha. He was named to the Summit League All-Tournament team.
Feddersen ranked second in blocks, sixth in free throw percentage (.805) and 12th in rebounding on the Summit League charts.
