Colorado to Launch New In-Game Fan Experience for Folsom Field in 2026

New additions include in-game live music, new host, and dynamic video board show.
BOULDER, Colo. — Fans coming to see the University of Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field will be treated to a variety of new in-game experiences designed to increase excitement and fan engagement at one of college football's most iconic venues, including live music, a new host, and enhanced video board displays.
New this year, CU Athletics is introducing "Bands in the Stands," which will feature Colorado bands perched on the sixth floor roof of the Champions Center, playing live music before kickoff and in designated spots throughout the game.
During the game, CU graduate Gianna Girardi, who also serves as in-game host for the Colorado Rockies, will bring her infectious energy to Folsom Field as host, while a new video board show will make sure the crowd stays loud in order to help boost the Buffs to victory.
"Folsom Field is one of the toughest places in college football for visitors to play, and these in-game additions are designed to bolster the home field advantage that we've enjoyed for generations," said Fernando Lovo, CU Director of Athletics. "I'm excited for our fans to experience all of our new initiatives that will bring all Buffs together and make game days at Folsom truly special."
The improved game day experience also includes a new pregame street party, Ralphie's Road presented by Toyota, which will include food trucks, a giant TV, DJ, and interactive games that will augment the pregame experiences at Franklin Field and Chip's Kids Club Presented by Children's Hospital located on Duane Field.
The Buffs begin the 2026 season in an ESPN nationally televised match-up at Georgia Tech on Sept. 3 before returning home on Sept. 12 against Weber State. Single-game tickets, season tickets, and mini-plans are available now.
