Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week (March 2, 2021)
FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR (2021): Started in all 15 games … named a team captain … part of a stingy defense that held its opponents to 10.93 goals per game, which was second in the Pac-12 … helped CU clear at the nation’s fourth-best clearing percentage (92.7) which led the conference … ranked fourth on the team with 20 ground balls, which included a season-high of three against Denver on February 28 … was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career following the game as she also added three timely caused turnovers, another season-high, as she helped limit DU’s offense to just six shots (five on goal) in the second half … recorded 11 caused turnovers during the season, which was the second most on the team.
SENIOR (2020): A five-game starter on defense … helped CU hold its opponents to just over 10 goals per game … recorded five ground balls, one draw control and five caused turnovers, which tied for the team lead … had a strong start to the season, forcing a pair of caused turnovers against No. 14 Stanford ... cleared at 87.1% (74-85), thanks in part to the strong defense.
JUNIOR (2019): Played in all 19 games for the Buffs while making 13 starts ... started in the season opener against Florida (2/9) and had two ground balls and one caused turnover ... during the season, she scored a pair of goals; one against Virginia Tech (2/16) and the other in the Pac-12 opener against Stanford (3/8) ... picked up 36 ground balls, had 18 caused turnovers and eight draw controls ... recorded a career-best five caused turnovers and six ground balls on April 12 against Stanford.
SOPHOMORE (2018): Saw an increased time on the field as a reserve midfielder, playing in 15 of 20 games ... made her season debut in the Pac-12 Conference opener against Stanford (3/9) and scored the first-ever goal in Pac-12 history … was also her first collegiate goal ... went on to score six more goals during the season … also added seven ground balls and two draw controls.
FRESHMAN (2017): Appeared in two games as a reserve midfielder ... saw the field against Winthrop, on March 15, and Saint Mary’s, on April 21 – both wins.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Ravenscroft School in 2016 … five-year letterwinner ... named all-state three times and all-conference four times … led Ravenscroft to a state championship in 2012 ... earned five letters and was all-state three times in field hockey … lettered one year in basketball.
CLUB TEAM: Played for Carolina Fever.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Graduated in May of 2021 with a degree in psychology and minors in communication and sociology.
PERSONAL: Born on July 14, 1997 ... enjoys hiking … lists the Carolina Panthers as her favorite sports team.
