AT COLORADO—2020-21 (Sr.)—Finished eighth on the team in stroke average (74.63 for 16 rounds) in the shortened season that had no fall competition due to the COVID pandemic … Best round of the season was a 3-under 69 in the first round of Arizona’s National Invitation Tournament, with his second best a 2-under 70 in the meet’s final round; he tied for 63rd with a 3-over 219 due to a second round 80 … Best finish was a tie for 52nd in Wyoming’s Desert Intercollegiate (222, +6) … Was CU’s sixth man at the Pac-12 Championships, where he opened with an even-par 72 at Mayacama Golf Club in Santa Rosa, but eventually finished tied for 67th with a 19-over 307 score … Opened and closed strong (73.0 and 73.2 averages in first and final rounds), but struggled in middle rounds (77.2).

2019-20 (Jr.): Owned the fourth-best average on the team for the season (73.10), with 14 of 18 rounds counting toward the CU score (played an additional two as an individual) … He averaged 73.07 for the fall (14 rounds) and 73.17 for the spring (played six before the remainder of the year was cancelled) … Was under par in three of seven events for the season … Owned the team’s second-best opening round figure of 71.43 and the fourth-best final round number (73.71) … Top effort came in CU’s own Mark Simpson Invitational, where he recorded a 3-under 213 score, bolstered by his collegiate best round to date, a 6-under 66 in the first round; he tied for 20th overall … Top finish was a tie for 17th in the Air Force Miranda Invitational, where he posted a 1-under 215 total … Opened the spring with a similar effort (215, -1) in UHH’s Amer Ari Invitational where he tied for 49th … Tied for the team highs in most pars for a round (15) and in a tournament (39), both coming at Air Force, as well as for the second-most birdies in a round (seven in the Simpson).

2018-19 (Soph.)—He came on strong the second half of the spring, finishing third on the team in stroke average with a 73.85 figure … Scored for the team in three of the six spring meets, including the Pac-12’s … His 72.27 average for 11 individual rounds was a team-best among the six players who accounted for 71 individual rounds in the regular season … He tied for 46th at the Pac-12 Championships with a 297 score (13-over), was second among the six Buffs who competed … Playing as an individual in the Wyoming Classic, he tied for 56th (81-69-70—220), but in the process became just the third Buffalo in history to follow a round in the 80s with two subpar rounds … Scored 13 birdies in the Air Force and Utah meets, tied for the second-most on the team in a tournament for the year … Had 16 rounds where he did not score worse than a bogey … His 72.56 average for final rounds (nine) led the team … With an eagle and 88 birdies out of 486 holes, his percentage of subpar holes (18.3) was the team-best for the season … Played in four events in the fall, in two of which he was a designated scorer for the team … Owned a 73.09 for 11 rounds, fourth-best on the team … Played as an individual to open the season, tying for fifth in Air Force’s Miranda Invitational (212, -4) … Closed strong as well, placing second in the Northern Colorado Invitational with a pair of even-par 70s (140) … He struggled in CU’s Simpson meet where he was 14-over par, otherwise he was just 2-over for his other eight rounds.

2017-18 (Fr.): He owned a 74.18 average for 17 rounds, all of which he played as an individual (his score didn’t count toward CU’s team total) … He played in six events overall, four in the spring where he posted his three top finishes, led by a tie for 10th in the Southern Colorado Masters (213, or even-par) … He tied for 25th in the Arizona State Individual alongside the Thunderbird event (225, +12) and tied for 27th in Colorado Mines Writz Invitational (157, +13) … Shot a season/career-best 2-under 69 in the first round of the Southern Colorado Masters event … Had 76.1 percent of his holes played on the year at par or better (233 of 306, including 37 birdies and an eagle) … He played in two fall tournaments to open his collegiate career (both as an individual), starting with a 50th place tie in Air Force’s Miranda Invitational (220, +4) … He followed that up with a tie for 64th in CU’s own Mark Simpson Invitational (221, +5); his second round 1-under 71 tied for 20th-best in the 107-man field … He averaged 73.5 strokes in the fall, and had just one hole worse than bogey (a double) in the 108 holes he played.

High School—As a senior, when he owned a 70 stroke average, he placed third in the Colorado 4A High School championships with a 70-71—141 (3-under) effort at River Valley Ranch Golf Club, finishing one shot out of the lead ... Tied for third as a junior with a 70-72—142 (+2) scorecard at Fox Hill Golf Club in Longmont, and tied for 19th as a sophomore ... He earned first-team All-State honors as both a junior and senior and was second-team as a sophomore.  

Other—2020: Tied for seventh in the Colorado Golf Association’s Fall Amateur (67-70-72—209, -1) at Common Ground CC in Aurora …Tied for 28th in the Grapevine Amateur in Napa, Calif. (Silverado North GC; 78-73-82—233, +17) … Tied for 31st in the Colorado Golf Association’s Colorado Amateur (73-74-73-72—292, +12) at CommonGround GC in Aurora.   2019: Tied for 16th in the Colorado Amateur with a 71-75-67-75—288 (+4) effort at Lakewood Country Club … Tied for 17th in the stroke play qualifying for the CGA Match Play Championship (72, +1), but lost in the first round of the match competition … Tied for 38th in the Southwestern Amateur at Desert Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale (71-69-72-70—282, +2). 2018: Reached the round of 32 in the CGA Match Play Championship, as he qualified as the No. 23 seed out of stroke play (fired a 1-over 72) … Shot a 7-over-78 in U.S. Open Qualifying at Collindale GC (Fort Collins) … Tied for 67th in the Saguaro Amateur (77-77-70—224, +8) at Southern Dunes Golf Club (Maricopa, Ariz.); his final round 70 was the 17th best in the field to close the event.  2017: He missed the cut in the Southwestern Amateur (Desert Mountain CC, Scottsdale, Ariz.) by two strokes, having turned in a 77-69—146 scorecard (+6) … Finished third in the Colorado Junior Amateur Championship at Legacy Ridge with an even-par 69-71-76—216 performance.  2016: In summer amateur action, he helped Team Colorado to a seventh place finish (out of 18 teams) in the Junior Americas Cup, placing 16th individually with a 73-71-73—217 score in Guadalajara, Mexico … He was the 2015 Colorado Junior PGA champion, fashioning a 67-71—138 effort at Indian Tree in Arvada, winning by two shots ... Placed second in the Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado Tour Championship at Cherry Hills (69-72—141), bested only by his future CU teammate, Trevor Olkowski … Had two top 10 finishes in AJGA competitions.

Best Career Round In Competition—64 (-8, 2016 Colorado Junior Golf Event, Pelican Lakes Country Club, Windsor, Colo.).

Academics—He graduated from Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Business (Management) in 2021 … He is a member of CU’s Student-Athletic Advisory Committee … Selected as CU’s overall male student-athlete of the month for December 2019 … He was a two-time Academic All-State honorable mention team member in high school, where he was a member of the Honor Roll all four years.

Personal—Born March 28, 1999 in Fort Collins, Colo. … His hobbies include snowboarding and spending time with friends and family … His father (Justin) and an uncle (Jeff) both played football at the University of Nebraska ... He has volunteered working with young kids at area golf camps.
