2018-19 (Jr.): He saw action in seven tournaments, six as an individual (scores did not count toward CU team total) … Owned a stroke average of 75.20 for 20 rounds on the season … Started the spring on the travel squad, participating in Hawai’i-Hilo’s Amer Ari Invitational where he finished 102nd (75-77-84—236, +20) … Best spring finish out of three events came in Colorado Mines’ Bob Writz Invitational, where he tied for 19th (76-77—153, +9) … His average of 73.17 for 12 rounds was fifth-best on the team for the fall; was consistent as had figures of 73.5 for the first round, 73.3 for the second and 72.8 for the third … Recorded three top 25 finishes, topped by a season-best tie for 10th in CU’s own Mark Simpson Invitational (even par effort of 70-77-69—216) … Tied for 17th in DU’s Paintbrush Invitational (221, +5) … He tied for 25th in UNM’s Tucker Invitational (218, +2); in the latter, his eight birdies in the second round was the team-high for a single round for the season (his 15 pars in the third round tied for the most by a Buff for 18 holes as well).
At The University of South Florida (2016-17/2017-18; Fr./Soph.)—He competed in 10 tournaments for USF, owning a 74.9 stroke average, with five top 25 finishes and eight rounds of par of better … Had a pair of top 20 finishes as a sophomore, his USF best of a 13th-place tie in the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate (68-76-72—216, even) and a tie for 18th in USF’s own invite (77-77-75—229, +13) … Owned a 75.8 average for four events overall … As a freshman, he owned a 74.3 scoring average for 17 rounds, six of which were for par or better … His 72.6 average for the fall was second-best on the team … He recorded three top 25 finishes: a tie for 14th in the Steelwood Collegiate (73-72-71—216; even); a tie for 20th in the Georgia Southern Individual Collegiate (72-79-75—226, +10); and a tie for 21st in the AutoTrader.com Collegiate Classic (72-71-73—216, even) … Also posted an even-par 213 in the Maui Jim Intercollegiate, where he tied for 28th with is USF low score of 67 in the first round.
High School—He lettered three times in golf at Orlando’s Lake Highland Prep … He owned a stroke average of 34.5 as senior (LHP played mostly 9-hole dual matches), when he was a team captain and the No. 1 golfer … As a junior, he finished 12th in the state (75-75—150, +6) and as a sophomore, he placed 17th (82-75—157) … Lake Highland captured the regional championship his sophomore and junior years under coach B.K. Suhr.
