2020: Redshirt … did not compete.2019: Had an outstanding freshman season and helped the Buffs to a third-place team finish at NCAAs ... he was CU’s fifth runner at the meet as he finished 90th overall ... earned all-region and All-Pac-12 First Team honors by placing seventh at both meets, crossing the finish second for CU ... was also named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year for his conference finish ... was third for CU at pre-nationals, finishing 11th ... made his official debut in a CU uniform with an 18th-place finish at the Joe Piane Invitational after racing unattached at the Wyoming Invite where he was seventh.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in cross country and track and field at Kirtland Central High School ... two-time New Mexico State High School individual cross country champion ... led his cross country team to three-straight top-five finishes at the state meet ... the Broncos placed second during his sophomore and junior years and was fourth his senior season ... won his second individual title in 2018, finishing the 5k course in 15:27.35, which was a school record ... was named the Gatorade New Mexico Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year twice and won back-to-back Foot Locker West Regionals in 2017 and ’18 ... earned All-America honors after placing 11th at the Foot Locker National Championships as a senior ... won the state 1,600 and 3,200-meter titles his junior and senior years ... also the school record holder in both events ... ran 4:20.52 in the 1,600 at the 79th Nike Chandler Rotary and 8:58.90 in the 3,200 at the Acadia Invitational, both in 2019 ... during the summer of 2019, he ran a personal best in the mile (4:13.08), as well as a PR in the 3,200 (8:55.27) at the Music City Distance Carnival.
