2020-21 (So.): Gower played at the English Girls’ Amateur Stroke Play Championship in the fall prior to joining the team in Boulder … tied for ninth after two rounds with a 5-over 149 (77-72) … the tournament usually includes a third round, but it was canceled due to weather, which was unfortunate because Gower was playing a great final round … she had just two holes left in the round to play and was sitting on a 63 … also played at the Colorado National Women’s Open, which was put on by The Cactus Tour at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo. … placed 17th, finishing the two-round event with an 8-over 152 (77-75) … ranked third on the team with her 75.90 stroke average in the spring, playing in 21 rounds and seven tournaments … her stroke average ranks fifth in CU sophomore history … led the team in rounds counting (20/21) at 95.2% … was the top Buff at the Pac-12 Championship, finishing 13th overall … carded a 6-over 219 with rounds of 70-76-73.
2019-20 (Fr.): Gower joined the team in the spring of 2020 and was a solid addition to the team … made an immediate impact in the first event, the Lamkin Invitational Match Play, where she recorded a 3-0-0 record and led CU to a fifth-place team finish … played in two stroke play tournaments and had all six of her rounds count towards the team score … her spring stroke average of 75.0 ranked fourth on the team, as did her SCIRP average (3.00).
High School: Gower attended Notre Dame de Monbahus … in 2019, she played on the European Girls Team Championship team and the R&A Girls Home International team ... Gower had a successful 2019 schedule ... won the Cyprus Open and was third at the Scottish Girls Championships … also placed fifth at the Ladies Irish Open … was top 10 at the German Girls Championships ... in 2018 she won the English U16s North Championship shooting a 14-under ... was ranked the No. 1 player in France in 2017.
