2022-23 (Sophomore): Led Colorado in blocks (33) and ranked fourth in rebounding (4.7 rpg) while averaging 4.9 points per contest. Ranked 11th in blocked shots (1.0 bpg) and 14th in offensive rebounds (2.0 orpg) in the Pac-12. Averaged 4.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists at the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds at USC (1/12). Averaged 9.0 points and shot 70 percent from the field at the Pac-12 Tournament (7-10). Scored a career-best 21 points on 9 of 13 from the field against Utah Valley (3/19) in the second round of the NIT. It was his third career double-figure scoring game and first time reaching the 20-point plateau. Topped the Buffaloes in blocks in 19 games and led in rebounding five times.
2021-22 (Freshman): Averaged just under two points and two rebounds over 18 games off the bench as a true freshman. Missed the final 15 games of the season with a knee injury. Made his collegiate debut vs. Montana State (11/9), scoring three points with a pair of rebounds. Matched career-bests with 6 points on 3 of 5 shooting vs. CSU Bakersfield (12/18). Initially set his personal best in points, on an identical 3 of 5 shooting against New Mexico (11/13). Had six rebounds at Arizona State, his best in a Pac-12 game. Tied his personal best with two assists at Arizona. Established his personal best of seven rebounds against Maine (11/15). Played his final game of the season against UCLA, with two points and two rebounds in 15 minutes.
High School: A 2021 graduate of Cheyenne Central High School. Three-time Wyoming Class 4A All-State and East Conference first team selection. Averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a pair of blocks as a senior leading the Indians to the Wyoming state championship. Averaged 13.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks as a junior. He shot a state-best 69 percent from the field and was named the 2020 East Conference Co-Player of the Year as Central finished the season at 20-3 overall. As a sophomore, averaged 15.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and shot 61 percent from the field. A consensus four-star prospect coming in at 59th in Rivals' national rankings and as the ninth best center in the country. 247Sports has him as Wyoming's top player and the 63rd best overall player in the nation. Ranked No. 72 on the ESPN100 for 2021. Played three seasons of club basketball for the Utah Prospects out of Salt Lake City.
Academics: An Open Option major at Colorado, interested in International Affairs.
Personal: Born on May 9, 2003, in Cheyenne, Wyo. He is the son of Lynn Fox and Bill Lovering. Mom played basketball at Fresno State, dad played basketball at Colorado Christian. Chose Colorado because "it was close to home. I like the coaching staff and felt like I fit in here." Chose Colorado over Baylor, San Diego State, Boise State, Saint Mary's and Wyoming.
