High School: Ingalls is a 2009 graduate of Steamboat Springs high school. She was a member of the Rocky Mountain National Junior Olympic team in 2007 and 2009. At Junior Olympics, Ingalls took first and third place in 2007 and 10th in 2009, where Ingalls earned the David Quinn Award. She also earned the 2008 Charles Abernathy True Grit Award from the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.
In The Classroom: Ingalls is a molecular, cell and developmental biology major at CU and she hopes to attend medical school after graduating from Colorado.
Personal: Katherine "Kat" Ingalls was born April 20, 1991 and is the daughter of Bart and Jeanne Ingalls. She has one older sister Laura (26) and a brother, Greg (20). When she is not skiing, Ingalls enjoys mountain biking.
