2009 - Serebrakian remained a consistent skier for the Buffs as a junior, laying claim to 10 top-20 finishes in 12 total races. In just his second race of the year, Serebrakian took sixth place in the giant slalom in Alaska, which eventually proved to be a career-high for the veteran Buff.
2008 - Serebrakian proved to be a consistent top-20 skier, doing so on five different occasions this season. Serebrakian was CU's top-finisher in the GS in Utah, taking 17th place in the unfavorable conditions. His 16th place finish in the GS at Western State proved to be a career-best for the junior, who was on pace for a successful weekend until he was forced to sit out the slalom due to a mild concussion. Serebrakian was one of 12 CU skiers to be named to the NCAA Skiing All-Academic Team by owning a 3.50 or better grade point average.
2007 - Serebrakian landed his first career top-10 finish in his collegiate debut race at the Montana State Invitational where he took ninth in the slalom. After a strong start, he struggled to finish both races at Utah and wrapped up the season with an 11th place finish at the RMISA Championships.
Other - Serebrakian is currently trying to race for Armenia in the upcoming 2010 Olympics and 2009 World Championships.
High School - Serebrakian skied for three years for the Auburn Ski Club, which also produced fellow Nordic skier Matt Gelso. He did three years with the Squaw Valley Ski Team, as well as eight with the Northstar Race Team. He won the giant slalom at the Park City Elite FIS Tech Series in January of 2005, and took second in the slalom FIS event at Jackson Hole in March of that year. He graduated from Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, Calif., in May 2005. Over his high school career he played water polo, where he won the County All-League Goalie of the Year his senior season and was also named to the All-County first team. Serebrakian also played tennis in high school, as the number one singles player on his team his sophomore and junior years, and was on the All-County first team his junior and senior years.
In the Classroom - Serebrakian is an Integrative Physiology major, but is also interested in Dentistry and medicine. He was also on the Dean's List his senior year in high school and is a National Honor Society Life Member. Serebrakian was named to the 2008 NCAA Skiing All-Academic Team.
