2005-06: She competed in five rounds in two tournaments with a stroke average of 84.20.
2004-05: Persson-Gulda got a taste of the Division I game with eight rounds in three tournaments for a freshman year 85.62 strokes per average. She opened her collegiate career with a season low 79 playing as an individual at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate. Two weeks later at CU’s own Heather Farr Memorial her 70th place finish with an 85-84-169 scorecard would be a season best finish.
Other: She finished in the top 10 in the 1998 Swedish Championship. Her Halmstad team won the Swedish South Championship in 2000 and she was on the team that was comprised of two girls and four boys.
Best Career Round In Competition: 73, on the junior tour in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In The Classroom: Persson-Gulda is a mechanical engineering major at Colorado.
Personal: Born July 18, 1985 in Helsingborg, Sweden, she is the youngest daughter of Hans Persson and Britt-Marie Gulda of Halmstad. Her older sister Maria is a senior on the CU women’s golf team. Her hobbies including skiing (she’s been skiing since she was 2-years-old), playing tennis and running. She was the head of the student consulting group, and loves teddy bears.
