Bio
Senior (1997): Holyman started all 18 games and led the team in goals (6), assists (4), points (16), shots (53) and shots on goal (27). Her two game-winning goals also tied for the team lead. She scored her first CU goal on Sept. 5 vs. No. 6 Nebraska and added an assist in the following game, a 2-1 win over Iowa State. Holyman scored the first goal in a 2-0 win over Missouri on Sept. 26 and added two scores just two days later against Kansas. She converted a game-winning penalty kick in the 82nd minute to beat Baylor 3-2 on Oct. 17. Her final goal came against Texas on Oct. 24, adding an assist in that game for three points. Holyman also had assists vs. Oklahoma and Denver.
Hartford: Started all 56 games in her career at Hartford, and was a co-captain for the Lady Hawks in 1996, when she accounted for six points on one goal and four assists. She finished fourth on the team in scoring as a junior, third as a sophomore and fifth as a freshman. Overall, she recorded 147 shots and 52 points in her career at Hartford, a tally which includes 20 goals and 12 assists. She had nine goals and five assists as a freshman and 10 goals and three assists as a sophomore under now-Colorado coach Austin Daniels. She placed fifth among America East scorers in her sophomore year of 1995.
High School: She led Nelson High School to the Ontario Championship in 1990, 1991 and 1992, and was named the province's high school athlete of the year in 1992.
Personal: A former member of the Canadian National "B" team, she participated in the World University Games for the Under 23 Ontario team in 1993 and was also a member of the Canadian Under 20 national team. She was named to the America East academic honor roll as a sophomore and junior.
