2005 Fall: In two singles tournaments played went 3-5 with victories over a pair of New Mexico players at the New Mexico Invitational; also won at the Air Force Invite with a victory over a Colorado State player ... In doubles, went 5-2 ... Teamed with Gleisy Torres Torres for two wins at the New Mexico Invite and teamed with Northern Colorado’s Carmon Vasos for a second place finish (3-1 record) in Flight III at the Air Force Invitational.
2005 Spring: Played with three different doubles partners winning 11 of 18 matches ... Teamed with Lynzee Kever at No. 3 doubles and achieved a 7-4 record (12-6 for the year); 1-0 at No. 2 also with Kever ... Won eight matches with Kever, including a pair of four-match winning streaks on two occasions ... Finished dual play with Gleisy Torres Torres with a 3-3 mark with conference wins over Kansas (Apr. 16), Kansas State (Apr. 17) ... Secured key doubles point with Torres Torres against No. 3 seed Nebraska (Apr. 29) at the Big 12 Tournament helping CU upset the Cornhuskers ... Was 6-4 in Big 12 play with three wins each with Kever and Torres Torres ... Overall, won eight dual matches and 12 for the year with Kever, a second-best finish on the team.
2004 Fall: Went 4-4 record with three different doubles partners ... Played in four tournaments ... Won four matches with teammate Lynzee Kever including three straight wins at the USAF Invitational (Oct. 8-10) ... Played singles in three tournaments going 2-5 with a pair of wins in tournament play ... Defeated a Denver opponent at the CU Invitational (Sept. 18) and a New Mexico opponent (Oct. 8) at the USAF Invite.
2004 Spring: Recorded a 3-4 mark in singles play with a pair singles wins at No. 6 and another at No. 5 ... One those victories came against conference rival Kansas (Mar. 20) and helped CU to a 5-2 victory ... Other wins came over Portland (Feb. 1) and Texas-San Antonio (Mar. 24) ... In doubles, won 13 matches, nine of those during dual play ... Was paired with Martina Sedivec with five wins and four others with Lynzee Kever ... Her 13 doubles victories for the season tied for third on the team.
2003 Fall: Achieved a 4-3 mark on singles court with wins over Denver, Tennessee Tech, Tulsa, and against former CU teammate Kristy Randono ... Won a pair of matches at the Wake Forest Deacon Classic ... Teamed with Jessica Vanderdys for a 4-3 record on the doubles court ... In doubles, defeated Colorado State tandem in lone match at the Denver Challenge; went 1-2 at Wake Forest Deacon Classic, and achieved a 2-1 mark and reached the Round of 16 main draw at the ITA Central Regional.
2002-03: Saw action in seven matches during the fall ... Won four of seven matches ... Claimed victory in a pair of matches at the University of Denver Colorado Challenge and the Air Force Invitational ... Three of four matches won in straight-sets ... Went 4-4 on the doubles court ... Teamed with Lauren Carey for a 1-2 mark ... Notched another win with Kate Lutgert against Minnesota (Feb. 9).
Fairview HS: Lettered four years in tennis and cheerleading ... Ranked fourth in the state during season and was third during junior year ... Captain during senior year in tennis.
Personal: Born September 21, 1984 in Boulder, Colorado ... Daughter of Denny and Diane Hanson ... Older sister, Lauren, graduated from college last May ... Selected Colorado because “I have always loved it and didn’t want to leave it - nothing else compared” ... Participated in ballet until age 15 ... Her father was a member of the CU ski team ... Was also a cheerleader at Fairview for four years that qualified for state competition ... Lists advancing to state finals at No. 2 singles junior year and ranking fourth in state at No. 1 singles as her biggest moments of high school career.
In the Classroom: Graduated in May 2006 with a degree in psychology and with a business minor.
