Buffs Fall to No. 3 Baylor

BOULDER - Nationally-ranked Baylor remained unbeaten on the season shutting out Colorado, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at the Boulder Country Club.

The Bears (5-0, 1-0 Big 12) narrowly defeated the Buffs in the doubles competition edging the home team 9-7 at No. 1, 8-5 at No. 2 and No. 3.

In singles, Justin Hunter nearly upset the No. 1 ranked player in the nation, falling to Benedikt Dorsch in three sets, 6-4, 0-6, 2-6. Baylor, well represented in the Omni Hotels Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings with five players in the top-125 ranking, swept the other five singles positions.

Colorado, ranked No. 63 nationally, falls to 0-3 on the season travels to Florida this weekend by taking on No. 22 South Florida (Feb. 15) and No. 68 Central Florida (Feb. 16).
