CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The No. 70 ranked Colorado men's tennis team won its second consecutive match over the weekend defeating UNLV, 4-1, Sunday afternoon at the 2003 H-E-B Collegiate Team Championships.

It's the second straight win for the Buffaloes, who also defeated Northern Illinois on Saturday. CU improves to 2-8 on the season.

CU began the day taking two of the three doubles points as Justin Hunter and Chad Tsuda took an 8-2 win at No. 1. Bucky Mink and Jon Magnes followed suit and shut out their opponent with an easy 8-0 victory.

In singles, Colorado continued its display of straight-set tennis victories as Hunter, Magnes and Marko Bundalo each won their respective matches with little trouble. Hunter defeated Aviram Salomon, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1; Magnes doubled up Milos Blagojevic, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4; and Bundalo had little trouble with Ryan Barber at No. 5, 6-0, 6-0.
