COLUMBIA, Mo.-The 53rd ranked University of Colorado women's tennis team defeated Louisville, 5-1 Sunday at the University of Missouri.

The two teams did not play the doubles point, but the Buffs (6-3) walked away with five of six victories in the singles competition. Louisville dropped to 11-4 on the season.

At No. 3 singles, sophomore Katherine Anne Lutgert dropped a single game in her 6-1, 6-0 victory over Julie Penn.

The Buffs got straight set victories from Lutgert on down the ladder as sophomore Kendra Strandemo, Jessica Vanderdys and Morgan Sall came all away with wins.

Senior Lia Dimingo pulled out a three-set win. After dropping her first set 7-5, Dimingo rallied to beat Louisville's Kelly Taylor 6-1, 7-5.

Senior Dominique Lemperle was the only Buffalo to drop her match. Playing in the No. 1 slot, Lemperle took the first set 6-4 and dropped the second in a tie-breaker, 7-6, before losing the third 6-2.

The next test for the Buffs comes at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at the Ranch Country Club where they will face Iowa State.
