BOULDER -

Brigham Young Head Coach Jeff Judkins

GENERAL: "We are very excited to be here. We are excited to come to Colorado and play in this beautiful facility and against this great opponent. I am very impressed with Colorado and with Coach Barry. It is a wonderful opportunity for us. We are looking forward to tomorrow. "We have played in some tough places before and we've got a challenge. We're excited about it."

ON REPEATING SUCCESS: "I think we, last year, surprised a lot of people. I don't know if that will happen this year. We kind of have a different team this year. We have five returning starters and some new kids. I think Erin (Thorn) and Danielle (Cheesman) have done a great job taking care of the younger kids. One thing I've tried to do is not change things up. We are on a road trip and we are going to treat it like that. I know Coach Barry is telling her kids that this is a home game, because it is."

ON MATCHING UP: "I think both teams match up really well. We each have our strengths and whoever can capitalize on those will probably win.""

ON G KESTLEE NELSON: "I never though Kestlee Nelson would be where she is now. She basically walked on this year, and I did not have a scholarship for her until one of our girls went down."

ON F AMBROSIA ANDERSON: "She is by far the best athlete on the team. She brings a lot of that to the table. She is an exceptional shooter and has a real knack to get rebounds inside and score. Colorado recruited her real hard. We lucked out when she decided to come to BYU."

ON CU C TERA BJORKLUND: "They have one of the best big players in the country in Tera Bjorklund. We have to do our best to stop her. I don't know if you can stop anybody, but we'll try.

"We've played some pretty good bigs so hopefully we can contain her a little bit."

ON CU HOME COURT ADVANTAGE: "It really isn't fair to play on your home court. We feel that if we can go out and play well, we'll beat anybody. Colorado is a good team, weather we play them here or anywhere, they can go out and win. They've shown that with their road wins. "It's always nice to play a Big 12 opponent. They are one of the best conferences. It is always good to beat a Big 12 team, especially at home. That gives you some confidence. They have been beaten here; they are not undefeated. If we can come out and do our own things, we'll have a good chance."

Brigham Young Players

G Erin Thorn

ON BEING RECRUITED BY COLORADO: "I think I got a few letters but I don't really know if I ever considered it."

ON LAST YEAR'S TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCE: "Experience wise, it helps out a lot. I think five players went through last year and it can only help. We got a taste of how it feels to win and that helps us out."

ON MATCH UP WITH CU: "It is a tough match-up inside, but I think defensively we can match-up everywhere else. We are a good overall defensive team."

ON HOPES OF FAMILY'S ARRIVAL: "I really hope my family doesn't get stuck in the snow and can make it here."

C Danielle Cheesman

ON BEING RECRUITED BY COLORADO: "I got a letter, but I didn't really consider it because I was one of those people who committed early."

ON CHALLENGES OF PLAYING A HOST TEAM: "I love the home court crowd, even if it is of the other team. It doesn't matter who they're cheering for. The atmosphere just gets me excited."
