NO. 15 BUFFS AT KANSAS TONIGHT

Colorado hopes to get back in the win column as it visits Big 12 rival Kansas on Tuesday.
The 15th-ranked Buffaloes (12-2, 1-1) had won nine straight before suffering a 76-69 loss to No. 10 Kansas State on Saturday. Tera Bjorklund had 22 points and eight rebounds for Colorado, which committed 14 turnovers, shot 20 percent from the floor in the second half and just 39 percent for the game.
"At the end, our offense was not flowing like it was in the first half,'' Bjorklund said. "We probably could have taken care of the ball better. Mentally, we have to be tougher when taking care of the ball.''
The loss was the first at home for Colorado this season. The Buffalos are 3-1 on the road and 1-0 at neutral sites.
Bjorklund is the Buffaloes top threat, with team highs of 20.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-5 center is making 64.8 percent of her shots from the floor and 74.3 percent of her free throws.
The Jayhawks (8-5, 1-1) have split their first two games in the competitive Big 12.
"It's a tough schedule, especially the first games,'' said Kansas head coach Marian Washington. "There will be games that we will be in the hunt to win this season. If we keep improving we can surprise some of the dominant teams in the Big 12.''
Crystal Kemp, a 6-foot-2 forward, leads Kansas with 13.8 points per game on 58.4 percent shooting.
Kemp scored 20 points on 10-for-16 shooting to lead the Jayhawks to a 55-52 win over Missouri on Saturday. Aquanita Burras added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Kansas.
