CU'S THOMASON WITH EUROPEAN EXPOSURE TOUR

BOULDER -- University of Colorado assistant volleyball coach Jil Thomason is currently traveling with the Bring It USA European Exposure Tour as a member of the coaching staff..
In its fifth year, the European
Exposure Tour features female volleyball players who have exhausted
their NCAA eligibility and are looking to play in Europe as a
professional. The tour began January 7 and features stops in
Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and the Czech Republic. The
team will return to the United States on January 18. Thomason is
one of four coaches on the trip, leading a group of 25 former NCAA
student-athletes.
Thomason recently completed her fourth season as an assistant coach
with the Buffaloes. She helped guide CU to a 21-10 record in 2003,
a third place Big 12 Conference finish (13-7) and a berth in the
NCAA Tournament. A native of Glen Ridge, N.J., Thomason played
collegiately for the University of Wyoming (1991-94) and served as
an assistant coach at the University of Utah (1995-97) and the
University of Denver (1998-99) before joining the CU staff in
2000.
