WIN A VISIT FROM A CU MEN?S & WOMEN?S PLAYER
BOULDER ? Area students can have a chance for a University of Colorado menGÇÖs and womenGÇÖs basketball player to visit their classroom.
It works when a class brings the most students to a menGÇÖs and womenGÇÖs game and the class that has the most students, will get to pick a CU menGÇÖs and womenGÇÖs player to visit their classroom.
At each game that the students attend will count as one point for their class. After each game, representatives from the CU Marketing and Promotions department will tally how many students attended per class. The winner will be determined on cumulative points. So the more students that attend in combination with the number of games attended, will create the total points.
The contest is valid for only the games listed below:
MenGÇÖs Basketball
Tues., Dec. 23 Utah 6 p.m.
*Wed., Dec. 31 Richmond 1 p.m. (New Years Eve Bash ? All BVSD kids are only $1)
Thurs., Jan. 8 Savannah State 7 p.m.
Sat., Jan. 10 Northern Colorado 7 p.m.
WomenGÇÖs Basketball
Sun. Dec. 28 Wyoming 2 p.m.
Tues. Dec. 30 Syracuse 7 p.m.
*Sat., Jan. 3 Buffalo 7 p.m. (Celebrate the New Year, All BVSD kids are $1)
Sat., Jan. 10 Kansas State 11:30 a.m.
All games are $3 per child except Richmond (menGÇÖs game) and Buffalo (womenGÇÖs game), which are $1.
BVSD employees with valid district activity pass can qualify for the prices listed and must show ID to purchase discounted tickets.
On game day, students can register at the main entrance of the Coors Events Center, where forms for the kids will be filled out. Students need to write down their school, teacher, and grade and drop it in the box marked "Win a Visit".
