ANN ARBOR, Mich. ? The University of Colorado doubles tandem of Chad Tsuda and Marcos Digliodo lost their consolation round match Friday, 8-3, of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Indoor Championships.

Tsuda/Digliodo lost to Ivan Angulo Carrasco and Ricardo Omanna of the College of Santa Fe in the consolation backdraw.

“They didn’t play well and had a bad day,” said CU head coach Sam Winterbotham. “We went there and served well, then were broke and couldn’t get another game after that. Chad and Marcos played a very good team today. All and all, it was a very strong fall for us and something to build on for the spring.”

The CU duo received an at-large bid and suffered their third loss in seven matches this fall. The Buffaloes open the spring season January 22 for the ITA Team Regional at Boise, Idaho.
