QUICKLY...The University of Colorado (5-4, 0-0 Big 12 Conference) returns home to host the University of Northern Colorado (2-8, Independent) on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. in the Coors Events Conference Center in Boulder.

BUFFS ON THE AIR...All Colorado womenGÇÖs basketball regular and post season games are broadcast live on KKZN AM 760, BoulderGÇÖs Progressive Talk station. Tim Smile will handle play by play duties and is joined by USA BasketballGÇÖs Carol Callan with the color commentary.

900TH GAME...Colorado is in its 31st season of varsity womenGÇÖs basketball and Wednesday will mark the 900th game in program history. CU heads into the contest with an all-time record of 582-317 (.647). The Buffaloes have made 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, all since 1988, including six Sweet 16 appearances and three trips to the Elite Eight (1993, 1995 & 2002).

BUFFS LOOKING UP...Colorado has answered an early December three-game losing streak with a current three-game win streak, including the Buffaloes first two road wins of the 2004-05 season. Sophomore forward Anna Nedovic leads a balanced CU scoring attack at 11.4 points per contest. Nedovic, who also posts a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game, is one of six Buffs averaging at least seven points per game. Freshman forward Jackie McFarland is at 10.4 points an outing, leads the team in free-throw percentage (21x26, .808) and is third in rebounds (5.1 rpg). Classmate Kara Richards rounds out CUGÇÖs front court averaging 8.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and a team-best 1.3 blocks per game. Junior shooting guard Whitney Law is fourth on the squad in the scoring column (9.0 ppg) and leads the team and Big 12, in 3-point field-goal percentage as she has hit 10 of her first 16 shots (.625). Senior point guard Veronica Johns-Richardson is averaging 9.0 points per contest and paces the Buffaloes in steals (21) and assists (27).
