WOMEN'S HOOPS TO TAKE ON COWGIRLS SATURDAY AFTERNOON

BOULDER - The No. 13 University of Colorado women's basketball team will try to snap a two-game losing streak when they take to the court this Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. against the Oklahoma State University Cowgirls. Colorado is currently 19-5 on the season, 8-4 in the Big 12 and tied for third place with Texas Tech.
The Buffaloes have lost back-to-back games to No. 1 Texas and No. 24 Oklahoma and return home to take on the Cowgirls in a game that will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net. It will be the second-to-last chance for CU fans to catch the Buffaloes this season at home, as the Buffs will play their last home game next Tuesday.
In the meantime fans can catch a one of a kind matchup as Tera Bjorklund, the Big 12's second-leading scorer at 19.0 ppg faces off with Trisha Skibbe of OSU, the leading scorer in the conference at 19.5 ppg.
The game will tip off a 2:00 p.m. at the Coors Events Center. Fans can purchase a Chips Court ticket, which includes a general admission ticket, a hot dog and a Pepsi for just $5. Parking is free.
