Colorado hopes to continue the momentum it built over its recent home stand while Texas looks to move into a tie for first place in the Big 12 when the teams hook up at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin on Wednesday.

The Buffaloes (12-6, 4-3) have won six of eight, including Saturday's 81-66 victory over Baylor. David Harrison scored 26 points on 10-of-10 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds as Colorado hit a blistering 59 percent of its field-goal attempts.

Harrison's perfect shooting performance broke the school record set by John Addison, who went 9-for-9 against Midwestern State in 1979.

Michel Morandais added 21 points for Colorado, which snapped a six-game losing streak in the series by stunning the then-No. 3 Longhorns 93-80 in Boulder last season.

The 11th-ranked Longhorns (14-3, 5-1) are just a half-game back of conference-leading Kansas (6-1), which will be idle until it hosts No. 19 Texas Tech on Saturday.

Texas rebounded nicely from its first home loss in 26 games, a 72-67 defeat to No. 13 Oklahoma State on Jan. 24, by winning a pair of Big 12 road games, including Saturday's 69-59 victory at Texas A&M.

Brian Boddicker and Kenton Paulino led the Longhorns with 11 points apiece, but it was Texas' stifling zone defense that led to a decisive 16-0 second-half run.

"We knew we had to get some stops to control the game,'' Texas' Jason Klotz said. "We've been working hard this week. After (Monday's overtime win over Texas) Tech, we were pretty tired. We got our legs back under us.''

Texas had gone to overtime in each of its previous three road contests - all resulting in wins.

Senior guard Brandon Mouton leads the Longhorns with 12.2 points per game. Mouton managed just nine points on 3-of-7 shooting Saturday, but Boddicker and Klotz, who scored 10 points, helped pick up the slack off the bench.

The Longhorns are looking to extend a streak of 22 straight home wins against unranked opponents.

Texas leads the all-time series 7-6.
