DALLAS ? Colorado senior Morgan Sall of Miami, Fla. was named Co-Big 12 Player of the Week, announced the conference office, Tuesday for matches played from March 16-22.  Sall shares the honor with Texas A&M senior Jessica Roland.

Sall has paced CU to their best conference start (4-1) since the 1995 Big Eight season and to its top dual match begging since starting Big 12 Conference tennis in Feb., 1997. The South Floridian won the clinching match at No. 5 singles last week in a 5-2 team triumph over Kansas in Big 12 play and teamed with Jessica Vanderdys to capture the No. 1 doubles match over KU. That duo improved to 6-3 in its last nine matches, and Sall also claimed CU’s sole point in a 6-1 loss to No. 13 nationally Clemson with an abbreviated 8-6 victory at No. 5 singles.

Sall is the second CU player to earn conference honors this spring. Freshman Lynsee Kever was named player of the week back on Feb. 17.
