MEN?S TENNIS TIME CHANGE: DU AT CU, 2 p.m. ON MARCH 31

BOULDER ? The men’s tennis match between the University of Denver and the Colorado Buffaloes for Wednesday, March 31 is changed from 2:30 to 2 p.m. at the CU-Boulder South Campus Tennis Courts.
It’s the first of two matches against the Pioneers for the Buffaloes, who travel to DU Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m.
Colorado brings a 5-11 record into the match, while the Pioneers, winners of five of its last seven are 10-8.
Match Notes:
- CU leads the all-time series 20-1 dating back to 1963
- CU/DU have met at least once since 1997 with the Buffaloes winning all seven times
- Sophomore Marko Bundalo upset Virginia Tech’s No. 57th ranked player at No. 1 singles (March 24) improving his spring record to 9-5 and 12-8 for the season
- Freshman Peter Bjork ranks second on CU in spring victories with seven, followed by freshman Marek Dvorak and Chad Tsuda with six each. Dvorak leads the Buffaloes with the most wins during the 2003-04 season with 15.
- CU has played 10th nationally ranked opponents this spring
- DU’s Nejc Smole (#94 singles) is the lone student-athlete among the ITA’s rankings playing today
- Smole leads the Pioneers with 15 spring victories (19 overall); Niko Popovic and Jason Tan have won nine and seven matches, respectively at the No. 6 and No. 5 singles positions
