BJORKLUND NAMED TO ALL-BIG 12 TEAM
DALLAS - Colorado
senior Tera Bjorklund was named to the 2004 All-Big 12 Conference
Women's Basketball first team the league office announced
Friday.
Bjorklund, a 6-5 center
from St. Peter, Minn., leads the Buffaloes in scoring and is a
finalist for all three National Player of the Year honors
--- the Wooden Award, the Wade Trophy and the Naismith Award. A
three-time Academic All-Big 12 award winner as well, this is
Bjorklund's second straight appearance on the All-Big 12 team which
is voted on by league coaches.
Colorado senior guard Kate Fagan and senior forward Randie Wirt
were given honorable mention to the All-Big 12 team.
