2005 Colorado Football: Game 11 -- Nebraska

The Colorado Buffaloes (7-3, 5-2 Big 12) can clinch their fourth Big 12 North Division title in five years with a win this Friday against the Nebraska Cornhuskers (6-4, 3-4 Big 12) in a 1:30 p.m. kickoff at Folsom Field... ABC will televise the game nationally, with Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Tim Brant (analyst) and Suzy Shuster (sideline reporter) to call the action; Westwood One will send the radio broadcast nationally (and around the world on AFR) with John Castleberry and Shea Walker behind the mikes... This is the 10th straight year the two meet on the Friday after Thanksgiving; the visitor has won the last three meetings (two by CU in Lincoln)...CU is 5-0 at home this year, outscoring the quintet of visitors by 196-73; the first-team defense has allowed just four TDs in the last four home games... Colorado has not been eliminated from BCS contention, as if CU wins the North Division (see below) and defeats No. 2 Texas in the Big 12 title game, the Buffs by rule will earn the right to play in the Fiesta Bowl... CUGÇÖs website, www.CUBuffs.com features game day updates and live stats for all games... There are 1,500 tickets remaining for the Nebraska game (made available when the students did not pick up their entire allotment of 12,000; prices range from $50 to $85, plus two hundred club seats at $300).
