QUICKLY...The University of Colorado (8-14, 1-10 Big 12 Conference) hosts the University of Oklahoma (13-9, 5-6 Big 12) on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. MST in the Coors Events Conference Center. The game will be televised live by Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain with Keith Bleyer on the call and Charles Johnson with the color commentary.

BUFFS ON THE AIR...Colorado womenGÇÖs basketball regular and post season games are broadcast live on KKZN AM 760, BoulderGÇÖs Progressive Talk station. Tim Smile will handle play by play duties and is joined by USA BasketballGÇÖs Carol Callan with the color commentary.

AT THE GAME: Wednesday's game is Youth Night as kids 13 and under will receive admission for only $1. The first 500 youth in attendance will also receive a free Colorado basketball t-shirt. 31ST SEASON...Colorado is in its 31st season of varsity womenGÇÖs basketball sporting an all-time record of 585-327 (.641). The Buffaloes have made 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, all since 1988, including six Sweet 16 appearances and three trips to the Elite Eight (1993, 1995 & 2002).

BUFFS SEARCHING FOR SECOND LEAGUE WIN...Colorado lost its seventh straight game in Big 12 play with a 76-54 setback at Kansas on Feb. 13. The Buffs, who hadnGÇÖt lost seven straight since the 1984-85 season, are in 12th place in the league standings at 1-10, one game behind Oklahoma State which is 2-9. The Buffaloes will be looking to avoid their first eight game losing streak since the 1984-85 season when they host Oklahoma on Wednesday. Sophomore forward Jasmina Ilic leads a balanced scoring attack at 9.8 points per contest and has a team leading 28 3-point field goals. Freshman Jackie McFarland is second on the squad in both scoring (9.6 ppg) and rebounds (6.3 rpg) and actually leads the Buffaloes in rebounding during conference games (6.8 rpg). She is joined by fellow classmate Kara Richards who is averaging 9.1 points, 5.4 rebounds per game and has a team-leading 23 blocks. Senior point guard Veronica Johns-Richardson averages 9.6 points per contest and also paces the Buffaloes in assists (68) and steals (44). Johns-Richardson has been solid from the field in league games hitting 51.4 percent from the field (37x72), fifth best in the Big 12. Sophomore forward Anna Nedovic tops the Buffaloes in rebounding (6.5 rpg) and is just a handful of points behind Ilic and Johns-Richardson in the scoring column averaging 9.3 per game. Junior Whitney Law is sixth on the squad in the scoring column at 7.2 points per game and tops Colorado in 3-point field-goal percentage (.409, 18x44).
