Men's Tennis Falls Short At No. 13 Texas A&M, 5-2

COLLEGE STATION, Texas ? Marko Bundalo and Peter Bjork each won their respective singles matches for Colorado, however No. 13 Texas A&M proved to be the better team in the other singles slots taking a 5-2 winner Friday afternoon in a Big 12 Conference match up.
The Aggies, ranked No. 13 nationally improve to 10-6 overall and to 3-1 in conference play, while CU falls to 8-12 and 1-4 in the Big 12.
Bundalo won his 17th match of the season (sixth of the spring) taking a three-set upset winner at No. 2 over No. 23 Jerry Makowski. Bundalo took the opening set, 7-5 and subsequently won the match in a third set tiebreaker, 10-8.
Bjork won his 13th match of the season (ninth of the spring) winning in straight sets over Brett Joelson at No. 3 (6-2, 7-6 (4).
Bjork is 2-2 in his last four, while Bundalo has won two of his last three matches.
Colorado closes its road portion of the spring schedule traveling to No. 49 TCU on Sunday at 11 a.m.
