Bundalo Named to All-Big 12 Men's Tennis Team
DALLAS ? University of Colorado men's student-athlete Mark Bundalo was named All-Big 12 men's tennis team, announced the conference office. The All-Big 12 honors are selected by the league’s head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own players.
Bundalo, a junior from Serbia and Montenegro, won a team-best 20 matches this season, including an 8-3 mark at the No. 2 position. The three-year letterman is currently ranked No. 99 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles rankings and has defeated five nationally ranked players this spring.
This is the first conference honor for Bundalo, who has won five of his last six matches and ranks 25th all-time on the CU singles victories list with 44.
The Buffaloes faced 19 nationally ranked opponents this spring and finished the dual season with a 9-15 record, that included five wins over nationally ranked schools.
