Women?s Tennis Hosts No. 65 Texas Tech Saturday Morning

BOULDER - The University of Colorado women’s tennis team hosts Texas Tech University Saturday morning at the Harvest House Millennium Hotel, 10 a.m.
Admission is free and open to the public.
The Buffaloes (6-3, 0-1 Big 12) are ranked No. 42 nationally by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) are attempting to even their conference record at one, by taking on a Lady Red Raiders team (4-3, 0-1) ranked No. 65 nationally.
CU has won three of their last five matches and coming off a 1-1 week in Oregon last weekend. Freshman Monica Milewski is the lone CU student-athlete ranked among the nation’s elite singles players at No. 55. Milewski is 5-3 during the spring dual season and 14-6 overall.
Milewski is one of the four CU players with double-digit wins this season, senior Jessica Vanderdys has a team best 16-6 record, followed by sophomore Veera Nurmi (15-7), and freshman Franziska Jendrian at 11-9.
After the TTU match, CU hosts Kansas State, March 4 at the Ranch Country Club in Westminster beginning at 4 p.m.
