SAN RAFAEL, Calif. ? US Sports Camps, the largest sports camp organization in the United States and the operator of the Nike Tennis Camps, announced Friday its commitment to keep the CU Boulder Men’s Tennis program alive.

The Nike Tennis Camp will host over 300 young tennis campers at the CU varsity tennis complex this summer. The camp, directed by Sam Winterbotham, the CU men’s tennis coach, has a 20-year tradition of being one of the top tennis camps in America.

The Nike Tennis Camps funding is for three years and will amount to a five figure contribution.

“We are excited to be offering a Nike Tennis Camp at Boulder and want to support the very successful CU men’s tennis team,” said Charlie Hoeveler, CEO, US Sports Camps. “The kids coming to our tennis camp will get a great exposure to CU and be coached by one of the top young coaches in America, Sam Winterbotham. We believe in college tennis and want to do our part to keep it vital.”

The Nike Tennis Camp will run for four weeks in June and July.
