USA in Norway - July 12
DAY 1 - July 12, 2006
After a seven and a half hour flight from New Jersey to Germany (where we had a three hour layover), an hour and a half flight into Stavanger, Norway and a twenty minute drive to our hotel, I am finally here! As a team, we dropped our bags off, ate a quick lunch and immediately went back to our rooms to take a little nap. Following three hours of AMAZING sleep, it was time to wake up and get the legs moving with an afternoon practice in the rain. Most of the day consisted of travel, but tomorrow should be more exciting when we get to scrimmage my favorite foreign country, England! Well, I think it’s about time for me to get to bed...my only concern is, the sun isn’t supposed to set until 10:40 p.m.! It’s a good thing this hotel has dark blinds!
