BOULDER ? The University of Colorado menGÇÖs basketball team returns to the home court this week taking on the Colorado Christian Cougars, Tuesday, 7 p.m. at the Coors Events Center.

The Buffaloes (2-2) are coming off a 78-52 loss Saturday night at Wisconsin in the final game of the AmericaGÇÖs Youth Classic in Madison. CU also defeated Florida A&M and Savannah State.

Colorado Christian resides from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and brings a 1-1 record into Tuesday nightGÇÖs game.

There is no television coverage for the game, but CU will provide live video streaming as part of the BuffsTV subscription package. The pay-per-view fee is $9.95 per month ($74.95 annual). For more information visit www.CUBuffs.com.

Senior guard Richard Roby, named to the AmericaGÇÖs Youth Classic all-tournament team, scored a game-high 20 points (8-of-15) at Wisconsin, then tallied another game-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting in the win over Savannah State. Roby, the schoolGÇÖs seventh all-time leading scorer (1,504 points) and CUGÇÖs leader each of the last three seasons, is 63 points from sixth place and Randy Downs (1982-85).

  • The CCU Cougars, a Division II school are from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference ? The Cougars are 1-1 on the season defeating Langston, 81-64 and falling to Dixie State, 72-85 ? CCU head coach David Daniels enters his third year (22-33 record) leading the Cougars to a 13-15 mark last season.
  • CU is 66-26 (.717) against the RMAC and last played a school from that conference in the regular season during 2001-02 (Nov. 19, 2001, 77-56 over Regis)
  • Sophomore guard Xavier Silas scored a career-high 24 points in CUGÇÖs 83-59 victory over Florida A&M, Thursday night at the Kohl Center. SilasGÇÖ previous best was 23 points at Baylor (Jan. 30). He also had a career-best five assists and a season-high 8-of-11 (.727) from the field. It was SilasGÇÖ second career 20+ scoring game.
  • CUGÇÖs back-to-back victories at the AmericaGÇÖs Youth Classic are the Buffs first consecutive wins since the 2005-06 season
  • After four games, the Buffaloes are shooting nearly 50 percent from the field (83-of-173, .480) and allowing the opposition 58.5 ppg.
  • CU is playing seven games in the month of November, the most since playing seven in 1998-99.
