BOULDER ?  University of Colorado junior Jenny Barringer has been named a 2007-08 Cross Country Honda Sports Award Nominee for the second year in a row. The winner will be decided by nationwide voting among NCAA member schools and will receive the Honda Award for cross country and become a nominee for The Honda-Broderick Cup awarded annually to the nation's outstanding collegiate woman athlete of the year.

Barringer earned a runner-up finish for the second straight year at the 2007 NCAA Cross Country Championship on Monday, Nov. 19, finishing the 6k loop in 19:47.8 to earn her second consecutive All-American honor in cross country.
