Ganz throws his fourth touchdown of the day on a 4-yard pass to Purify. Sean Hill caught Ganz's 2-point PAT. Ganz's final numbers are 31-of-58 for 484 yards with three touchdowns and four interceptions.

Ganz leads the Nebraska drive hitting Purify for a 9-yard touchdown on a 4th-and-goal. The touchdown now makes this the highest scoring game in the Colorado-Nebraska series (previous high: 101)

On the first play after the interception, Charles runs it in for his third touchdown of the afternoon as the Buffaloes have now scored 34 straight points.

Colorado makes it three interceptions on Ganz, and nearly two returns for a touchdown. Cha'pelle Brown picks off Ganz's pass intended for Purify and returns it 51 yards to the Nebraska 2-yard line.

Colorado is forced to punt, but the Buffaloes are successful in running 6:56 off the game clock. Charles has now rushed for 160 yards on 29 carries. Hawkins is 17-of-29 for 241 yards. After giving up 393 yards in the first half, the Colorado defense has allowed Nebraska only 75 yards in the second half.

7:50 Fourth Quarter
Colorado has escaped the shadows of its own goal line. Charles rushed it seven straight times for 36 yards and a pair of first downs. Hawkins picked up a first down on a 3rd-and-1 keeper as the drive continues.

Colorado holds Nebraska, but Husker punter Dan Titchener pinned the Buffaloes down on 1-yard line after a 47-yard punt. 

Reversing a Trend: Colorado outscored Nebraska 20-0 in the third quarter reversing a season-long trend of opponents third-quarter scoring success over the Buffaloes.  Colorado had been outscored 123-59 in the third quarter in the previous 11 games, by far its poorest margin for any quarter.

Colorado outgains Nebraska 125-40 in the third quarter
Colorado has driven down to the Nebraska 33, the big play coming on a 29-yard pass from Hawkins to DeVree.  DeVree has four catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. Charles has 124 yards on 23 carries while Sprague has 48 yards on six attempts.

Nebraska goes 3-and-out. Buffs hold on a 3rd-and-4 from the Nebraska 38 as CU defensive lineman Brandon Nicolas batted down a Ganz pass at the line.

5:37 Third Quarter -- Colorado 44, Nebraska 35 (Scoring Drive: 4 plays, 25 yards, 1:11)
Sprague caught a 22-yard pass from Hawkins on a 3rd-and-8 play from the 23 that was initially called a touchdown. After an officials review, Sprague was ruled down at the 1-yard line. Charles took it in on the next play, over left tackle. Eberhart's PAT attempt was wide left. The ball had been moved to the 1 on the PAT try after a defensive offsides penalty. The PAT miss broke a string of 92-consecutive PAT makes by CU kickers, the second longest streak in CU history.

6:39 Third Quarter
Colorado stopped Nebraska again and enjoyed its third big play of the quarter. Dan Titchener's punt is blocked by Alonzo Barrett and recovered by Jordon Dizon and returned to the Nebraska 25. 

8:10 Third Quarter -- Colorado 38, Nebraska 35 (Scoring Drive: 4 plays, 33 yards, 1:52)
Hugh Charles runs it in from 9 yards out. On the drive Charles goes over the 100 yard rushing mark for the game, the 11th of his career. For the game Charles has rushed 19 times for 113 yards and one touchdown.

10:04 Third Quarter
Ganz throws his second straight interception as his pass to Nate Swift went high and was caught by Lionel Harris at the CU 45 and returned the ball 32 yards to the Nebraska 23.  A holding penalty on the return put the ball back to the 33.

10:26 Third Quarter -- Nebraska 35, Colorado 31
Freshman cornerback Jimmy Smith intercepted a Ganz pass and returned it 31 yards for a touchdown. Smith is the 14th CU player since 1992 to return his first career interception back for a touchdown. DiLallo's punt and two Nebraska penalties had the Huskers pinned back to a 3rd-and-12 at the nine when Ganz threw the pick.

Colorado is able to get one first down on its first drive of the third quarter, but stalls out at the CU 44. DiLallo punts to give Nebraska its first second-half possession at its own 11.

0:23 Second Quarter -- Nebraska 35, Colorado 24 (Scoring: 4 plays 71 yards, 0:59)
Nebraska strikes right back as Ganz continues to heat up. Ganz was 4-of-4 for 76 yards on the drive (The Huskers had a 5-yard illegal shift penalty midway through the drive) and finishing the series with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Todd Peterson.

1:25 Second Quarter -- Nebraska 28, Colorado 24 (Scoring Drive: 6 plays, 80 yards, 1:39)
Colorado halted Nebraska's 21-0 run with a solid drive ending in a 11-yard touchdown pass from Hawkins to DeVree. Key Play: Colorado receiver Stephone Robinson gave Colorado it's third play of 30-plus yards of the game with a 35 yard reception from Hawkins. A 15-yard facemask penalty was tacked on, putting CU at the Nebraska 22. Hawkins improved his game numbers to 11-of-18 for 145 yards and one touchdown.

3:04 Second Quarter -- Nebraska 28, Colorado 17 (Scoring Drive: 5 plays, 66 yards, 0:53)
The big play continues to serve Nebraska well. Ganz hooked up with Purify for a 25-yard touchdown pass. Just prior to that Ganz converted on 3rd-and-10 with a 14-yard strike to Purify. Ganz improved his passing numbers to 11-of-22 for 198 yards and one touchdown.

3:57 Second Quarter -- Colorado has to punt for the third straight possession. The Buffaloes, who started 3-of-5 on third down, have failed on their last two. CU's DiLallo punts to the Nebraska 34.

6:19 Second Quarter  -- Nebraska 21, Colorado 17 (Scoring Drive: 9 plays, 74 yards, 3:00)
Ganz did it on this drive with both his arm and feet. Ganz had a 16-yard pass to Maurice Purify on a 3rd-and-14 to keep the NU drive alive at midfield. He then connected on a 30-yard strike to Nunn down to the Colorado 14. Ganz ended the drive with an 8-yard scoring run, his second of the day.

Buff Stat: Colorado is 3-of-5 on 3rd down in the game while Nebraska is 0-of-3 and 0-of-1 on 4th down. 

11:43 Second Quarter
Nebraska appeared to be driving again, Ganz was 4-of-4 to begin the drive, but it stalled at the Colorado 30. The Huskers had the ball to the 25 where it was 4th-and-3, but then suffered a 5-yard delay of game penalty, to make it 4th-and-8 at the 30. Ganz's pass to Nunn fell  incomplete as it was broken up by CU defensive back Benjamin Burney.

Colorado fails to convert for the first time in the game, punting the ball back to Nebraska.  

End 1st Quarter
Colorado outgained Nebraska 188-136 in the first quarter, 108-98 on the ground and 80-38 passing. Hawkins was 6-of-10 for 80 yards. Ganz was 1-of-5 for 38 yards. Charles led CU in rushing with 8 carries for 70 yards. Lucky led Nebraska with 7 carries sfor 50 yards.
The combined 31 point quarter is the highest CU has been involved in this season. The previous was the 30-point third quarter against Texas Tech (CU 17-13).

0:16 1st Quarter -- Colorado 17, Nebraska 14 (Scoring Drive: 5 plays, 62 yards, 2:16)
Nebraska finished off its second "quick" drive of the day, answering Colorado's score in just 2:16. Marlon Lucky capped off the drive with a 2-yard run. Lucky also had a 38-yard catch from Ganz that put the Huskers at the Colorado 9. On the catch Lucky became the first Nebraska player with 1,000 career rushing and receiving yards.

2:30 1st Quarter -- Colorado 17, Nebraska 7 (Scoring Drive: 6 plays, 52 yards, 2:49)
Colorado's Dusty Sprague capped off this drive with his first career rushing touchdown, from 4 yards out. Two plays prior to that, on
 a 2nd-and-10 play, Charles rushed up the middle for 19 yards down to the Nebraska 6. The rush moved him into 6th place on CU's all-time rushing yards list. 

To this point of the game Colorado has 12 rushes for 101 yards, Charles with seven of those carries for 67 yards. Colorado leads in overall  yards 181-82. Nebraska had 67 of those yards on its lone scoring drive.

5:40 1st Quarter -- Colorado's defense holds Nebraska to just three plays. On 3rd-and-8, Ganz's pass to Nunn was incomplete. Cha'pelle Brown was credited with a pass breakup to end the drive.

If Ganz is going to get in the endzone, then Hawkins needs his too. Hawkins completed CU's 11 play drive with a 5-yard run up the middle for a touchdown. The Buffaloes were 3-of-3 on third down in the drive, including the Hawkins score. Key Plays: On 3rd-and-7 from the Buffs' 30, Hawkins completed an 11-yard strike to Josh Smith to keep the drive moving. Charles put the Buffaloes in Nebraska territory with a 41 yard run -- his long of the season -- down the the Huskers' 18. On 3rd-and-4 from the 12, Hawkins connected with tight end Tyson DeVree for 7 yards down to the 5.

12:13 1st Quarter -- Nebraska 7, Colorado 3 (Scoring Drive: 4 plays, 67 yards, 0:27)
Nebraska responded to the Colorado field goal with three big plays to take the lead. Frantz Hardy rushed 12 yards on a reverse. Marlon Lucky rushed for 27 yards up the middle down to the Colorado 28. After a Ganz threw an incomplete pass, he called his own number with a 28-yard scamper down the left side to take the lead.

Colorado's first drive ends in a 25-yard field goal by Kevin Eberhart. (Scoring Drive: 6 plays, 55 yards, 1:08)
Key Play: The play after Sprague's reverse run, quarterback Cody Hawkins connects with Charles on a 33-yard pass play down the left sideline to the Nebraska 11. The Buffs couldn't pick up a first down, but Eberhart puts the Buffs on the board with his 15th field goal of the season.

Colorado's first play is a 19-yard rush by senior Dusty Sprague on a reverse. Sprague took the  reverse from fellow senior Hugh Charles and rushed down the Buffs sideline for a first down. 

14:06 1st Quarter
Colorado's defense holds Nebraska to a 3-and-out. Ganz tried two passes up the middle, both of which were well covered and fell incomplete. Colorado takes over on its own 36-yard line.
