Colorado will go on the road next week as they face Iowa State in another Big 12 conference game. The Buffs will again be looking to become bowl eligible as they try to get their sixth win of the season.  

Colorado now moves to 5-5 on the season, with a 3-3 record in Big 12 conference play. With the win, Missouri moved to 8-1 on the season, with a 4-1 record in Big 12 play.

Game Summary: Colorado completed 58 plays for 196 yards of offense. Quarterback Cody Hawkins completed 12 passes for 100 yards in the game. WR Dusty Sprague led all receivers with 43 yards on 4 catches. Hugh Charles led the rushing game with 59 yards on 14 carries. Colorado's defense was led by Cha'pelle Brown's 12 tackles, followed by Jordon Dizon and Brad Jones who had nine and seven tackles respectively.  

As the fourth quarter came to a close, the Missouri Tigers let the clock run down and came away with a 55-10 win over the Buffaloes.  

On the first play of the drive, quarterback Nick Nelson handed the ball off to freshman TB Brian Lockridge who carried the ball 11 yards for the first down. On Colorado's 3rd-and-11 play, Nelson was sacked, which set up another Matt DiLallo punt.  

Stephone Robinson received the ball for Colorado off of the Missouri kickoff. He returned the ball 10 yards, setting up the Buffs drive on the 10-yard line.

Derrick Washington rushed for a 3-yard touchdown for the Tigers with 4:23 remaining in the fourth quarter. Wolfert's extra point was good for Missouri, giving them a 55-10 lead over the Buffaloes.

Colorado's defense took the field, with Jordon Dizon and Jimmy Smith picking up the tackle for Colorado. Dizon has nine tackles for Colorado, while Cha'pelle Brown leads the Buffs with 12 tackles.

On the first play of the drive, quarterback Nick Nelson completed a pass to WR Josh Smith for a gain of six yards on the play. After another offensive penalty, Nelson completed a 6-yard pass to Byron Ellis, but the Buffs were short of the first down and Matt DiLallo punted for Colorado. With the 33-yard punt, the Tigers took over on their own 44-yard line with 7:46 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Chase McBride made the fair catch for Colorado off of the Missouri 26-yard punt. The Buffs will start their drive on their own 15-yard line.  

On Missouri's first two plays of their drive, quarterback Chase Daniel went to his 6-5 tight end, Martin Rucker, for a first down. On the Tigers' 1st-and-10 play, strong safety Lionel Harris sacked Daniel for a loss of 12 yards. Daniel then completed a 16-yard pass to Jeremy Maclin, setting up their 3rd-and-6 play. The Tigers were stopped three yards short of the first down with a Cha'pelle Brown tackle.

Colorado's defense is led by sophomore RCB Cha'pelle Brown who has eight tackles. Jordon Dizon, who left the game with a concussion but returned to the game, has seven tackles for the Buffs.  

Through three quarters, the Buffs had 173 yards of offense on 49 plays, while Missouri had 499 yards of offense on 70 plays. The Tigers converted on 10 of 16 third down plays, while the Colorado offense only converted on 3 of 14.  

On the first play of the third quarter quarterback Nick Nelson completed a pass to TE Joe Sanders. The Buffs couldn't convert on their third down play, though, and Matt DiLallo came on to punt for Colorado. Missouri took over on their own 25-yard line.

FOURTH QUARTER 

Game Note: The 48 points scored against the Buffs tonight is the most points they have given up at home since 0ct. 8, 1983. In that game, the Buffaloes lost 59-20 to these same Missouri Tigers.

At the end of the third quarter the Colorado Buffaloes are trailing the Missouri Tigers 48-10.  

The Colorado offense starts their drive with Nick Nelson at quarterback.  

Hugh Charles returned the Tigers' kickoff 32 yards, putting the Buffs on their own 37-yard line.  

On Missouri's drive, Chase Daniel continued to move the ball with passes to his tight ends and wide receivers. Daniel then handed the ball off to TB Tony Temple for a gain of 13 yards, setting up Missouri's 1st-and-goal play. The Tigers again looked to Temple who carried the ball two yards to the 6-yard line. Daniel carried the ball on the next play, but was tackled by George Hypolite and Brad Jones. Daniel again connected with TE Chase Coffman for a  touchdown, and Wolfert's extra point was good. Missouri now takes a 48-10 lead over the Buffs with 45 seconds remaining in the third quarter.  

The offense looked to TB Hugh Charles early on the drive and picked up 11 yards and a first down. On their 3rd-and-8 play, Hawkins held onto the ball, but fumbled on the 42-yard line. Missouri recovered the ball and took over on the 44-yard line.  

The Tigers kicked off to Colorado and the kick went out of bounds, giving the Buffs the ball on their own 35-yard line to start their drive.

7:12 Remaining in the 3rd Quarter: On Missouri's 3rd-and-8 play, Colorado's defense received a 5-yard off-sides penalty, setting up the Tigers' 3rd-and-3 play. Daniels' pass was incomplete and Wolfert scored the 23-yard field goal for Missouri. The Tigers now lead Colorado 41-10 with 6:58 remaining in the third quarter.

The attendance for tonight's game at Folsom Field is 51,483. 

Injury Update: Jordon Dizon suffered a concussion and will not return to the game.

Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel completed a 31-yard pass to Danario Alexander for the first down and setting up the Tigers 1st-and-12 play.  

On Colorado's drive, Hawkins completed an 11-yard pass to TE Riar Geer for the first down. Hawkins' next pass was intercepted by Missouri's William Moore.

Missouri's Wolfert kicked off to a receiving Hugh Charles. Charles returned the punt 25 yards, setting up the Buffs' drive on their own 28-yard line.

Quarterback Chase Daniel completed a pass to TE Chase Coffman for another touchdown. With Jeff Wolfert's extra point, the Tigers took a 38-10 lead over Colorado with 9:29 remaining in the third quarter. Coffman's touchdown catch was the eighteenth of his career, setting a Missouri record.

11:44 Remaining in the 3rd Quarter: Colorado's defense, led by Terrence Wheatley and Cha'pelle Brown who each had tackles on Missouri's first two plays of the drive, allowed another third down conversion by the Tigers. On the next play, Missouri picked up another first down, putting them on the Colorado 27-yard line.

On Colorado's first play of their drive Hawkins handed the ball off to TB Hugh Charles for a gain of six yards. On the 3rd-and-3 play, Hawkins' pass was incomplete and Matt DiLallo came on to punt for Colorado. After DiLallo's 38-yard pass, Missouri took over on their own 49-yard line.

Missouri's offense took over on their own 48-yard line after a Matt DiLallo punt. The defense held the Tigers on their 3rd-and-13 play, bringing up the fourth down and Adam Crossett's punt for Missouri. Chase McBride returned Crossett's 45-yard punt one yard for Colorado, giving them the ball on their own 11-yard line.

Quarterback Cody Hawkins completed a 7-yard pass to Scotty McKnight after a 5-yard penalty for a delay of game. Penalties continued to hurt the Buffs' offense as a false start gave them another 5-yard penalty. The Buffs couldn't convert on their third down play, forcing them to punt.

Colorado will receive to start the second half, with Hugh Charles and Byron Ellis deep to receive for the Buffs. Charles returned the kickoff 21 yards to the Colorado 21-yard line to start the Buffs' first drive.

THIRD QUARTER 

The Buffs will look to slow quarterback Chase Daniel and the high-scoring Missouri offense in the second half, while turning up their own offense on the other side of the ball.  

Colorado allowed 6 of 10 third down conversions by the Tigers, while only completing 2 of 10 third conversions on offense. Penalties hurt the Buffs in the first half as they lost 70 yards on seven penalties.

The Colorado defense was led by Daniel Dykes and Jordon Dizon who had six tackles apiece in the first half. Cha'pelle Brown had five tackles for the Buffs and Jeff Smart chipped in three tackles for Colorado.

In the first half, Colorado had a total of 113 yards of offense on 34 plays. Quarterback Cody Hawkins completed nine passes for 72 yards. His top receivers were Dusty Sprague, who caught three passes for a total of 33 yards, and Patrick Williams who had two catches for 27 yards. The Colorado rushing game was led by TB Hugh Charles who had 31 yards on 9 carries.  

HALFTIME 

Colorado started its drive with a handoff to TB Byron Ellis for a gain of two yards, putting the Buffs on their own 22-yard line. On Colorado's 3rd-and-9 play, Hawkins completed a 3-yard pass to Hugh Charles, but the Buffs were short of the first down. Matt DiLallo punted 47 yards for Colorado and Missouri returned the ball 13 yards to their own 41-yard line. At the end of the first half, Colorado trails the Missouri Tigers 31-10. 

Injury Update: Terrence Wheatley is sidelined with an ankle injury, but he is expected to return.

On Missouri's 3rd-and-7 play, quarterback Chase Daniel completed a pass to TE Chase Coffman who ran in for a touchdown. Jeff Wolfert's extra point was good for the Tigers, giving them a 31-10 lead with 1:32 remaining in the first half.

Quarterback Cody Hawkins' first two passes of the drive were incomplete to Kendrick Celestine and Tyson DeVree. On the Buffaloes' 3rd-and-10 play Hawkins' pass to DeVree was again incomplete, setting up Matt DiLallo's 37-yard punt. After a 15-yard penalty on the Buffs, Missouri started their drive on their own 41-yard line. On the second play of the drive, LE Maurice Lucas tackled Danario Alexander, setting up the Tigers' 3rd-and-2 play. The Buffs' defense couldn't get the stop on the play, as Daniel completed a 4-yard pass to Martin Rucker. Rucker fumbled the ball on the play, but recovered the ball. Daniel Dykes was credited with the forced fumble on the play.

Missouri kicked off to Colorado and Terrence Wheatley returned the ball 36 yards for the Buffs, setting up their drive on their own 37-yard line.

On the Tigers first play of their drive, quarterback Chase Daniel carried the ball for a gain of 22 yards before being tackled by Ryan Walters and Cha'pelle Brown. Daniel then completed a 37-yard pass to William Franklin. TB Tony Temple ran for a 4-yard touchdown for the Tigers and after the extra point was good for Jeff Wolfert, Missouri took a 24-10 lead with 5:54 remaining in the second quarter.

Colorado's defense again takes the field. The defense has held Missouri to only 1-4 third down conversions.  

The Buffs were held on their 3rd-and-2 play, setting up Matt DiLallo to punt for Colorado. After DiLallo's 35-yard punt, the Tigers will take over on their own 35-yard line.

10:02 Remaining in the 2nd Quarter: The Tigers will kick off and Terrence Wheatley is deep to receive for Colorado. Wheatley returned the ball 21 yards for the Buffs, setting up their drive on their own 21-yard line. Colorado's offense has only compiled 99 yards of offense so far in the first half and will look to increase that total on this drive.

The Buffs' defense held the Tigers on their first two plays of the drive, setting up their 3rd-and-8 play. Quarterback Chase Daniel completed a 15-yard pass to WR Jeremy Maclin for the first down. On the next play, Brad Jones was credited with a quarterback hurry. Daniel then completed a 45-yard pass to Jared Perry, putting the Tigers on the 10-yard line. On Missouri's 3rd-and-16 play they picked up six yards, but were short of the first down. Jeff Wolfert made the field goal for the Tigers, giving them a 17-10 lead with 10:02 remaining in the second quarter.

Colorado was held on their third down play and punted to the Tigers, who will take over on their own 32-yard line.

The Tigers kicked off to the Buffs and Terrence Wheatley returned the kick 28 yards for Colorado. The Buffs will start their drive on their own 30-yard line.  

Colorado's defense has five players with two tackles in the game-- Jordon Dizon, Daniel Dykes, Benjamin Burney, Terrence Wheatley and Jalil Brown.

On Missouri's 3rd-and-4 play, quarterback Chase Daniel completed a pass to WR Jeremy Maclin for a 46-yard play and a touchdown. The Tigers' extra point was good, giving them a 14-10 lead over the Buffaloes with 14:04 remaining in the second quarter.  

To start the second quarter, Cody Hawkins and the Buffs started their drive on the 44-yard line, but the ball was fumbled by the freshman quarterback and recovered by the Tigers. The play was reviewed, but the call on the field stood and Missouri took over on their own 48-yard line.

SECOND QUARTER 

At the end of the first quarter the Buffaloes are leading the Missouri Tigers 10-7.

On the Tigers' punt, Chase McBride was deep to receive for Colorado, but there was a kick-catch interference call on the play. After the 15-yard penalty against the Tigers  the Buffs' started their drive on their own 47-yard line.  

Colorado's defense continued its strong play against the Tigers' offense and held them on their 3rd-and-11 play with a quarterback hurry by MLB Jeff Smart.

Tyler Cope kicked off for Colorado and Missouri took over on their own 24-yard line.

On the drive, quarterback Cody Hawkins completed an 18-yard pass to WR Dusty Sprague for the first down. On the 3rd-and-12 play, Hawkins completed a 7-yard pass to TE Tyson DeVree putting the Buffs on the 7-yard line. On the fourth down, Colorado's Kevin Eberhart made a 24-yard field goal giving the Buffs a 10-7 lead with 2:10 remaining in the first quarter.

Alonzo Barrett blocked the Tigers' punt, setting up the Colorado drive on the Missouri 33-yard line.

Colorado's defense, led by senior linebacker Jordon Dizon, held the Tigers on their 3rd-and-6 play with a pass breakup by Gardner McKay. Missouri will kick off to Colorado.

After Colorado's defense held the Tigers, forcing them to punt, Cody Hawkins and the offense took over the Buffs. On the first play of the drive, Hawkins handed the ball off to TB Hugh Charles who rushed for 12 yards and the first down. On Colorado's 3rd-and-15 play, Hawkins completed a 6-yard pass to WR Patrick Williams, but the Buffs were short of the first down. Matt DiLallo punted 42 yards for Colorado and Missouri took over on their own 16-yard line.

On the drive, Cody Hawkins completed a 21-yard pass to WR Patrick Williams for the first down.  Hawkins then went to his other wide receiver for a 9-yard pass to Dusty Sprague. After a holding penalty on the Buffs, setting up a 2nd-and-12 play, Hawkins carried the ball six yards. After Hawkins' pass to WR Cody Crawford was incomplete, Matt DiLallo punted 32 yards for Colorado.

Missouri kicked off to a receving Terrence Wheatley, who returned the ball 24 yards to set up the Buffaloes next drive.  

On Missouri's next drive quarterback Chase Daniel completed a pass to WR William Franklin for a gain of 72 yards on the play. Terrence Wheatley got the tackle on the play, but Missouri continued their drive and scored on a 3-yard touchdown by TE Martin Rucker. After their extra point was good, the Tigers tied the score at 7 with 12:18 remaining in the first quarter.

With that score, Colorado extended its winning streak to 232 games, which is the tenth longest winning streak of all time.  

Quarterback Cody Hawkins and the Colorado offense took over on the 11-yard line for their first drive of the game. Hawkins completed a 6-yard pass to WR Dusty Sprague. On the next play Hawkins handed the ball off to senior TB Byron Ellis who carried the ball three yards for a touchdown. Kevin Eberhart's extra point was good for Colorado and the Buffaloes took a 7-0 lead with 13:27 remaining in the first quarter.

On the first play of the drive ILB Jordon Dizon had a tackle for a loss of two yards and on the next play DT George Hypolite completed an interception and returned it six yards to the 11-yard line.  

Colorado kicked off to start the game. Cope's kick went out of the endzone and Missouri will start their first drive on their own 20-yard line.

FIRST QUARTER 

CB Terrence Wheatley has 14 career interceptions and needs one to tie Chris Hudson (15) for second and two to equal John Stearns (16) atop CU's all-time list.

Senior linebacker Jordon Dizon currently has 403 career tackles, which puts him in fifth place on the all-time list. He is just seven tackles shy of taking over fourth from Ted Johnson (409). Dizon also has 263 solo stops, which puts him in third all-time at CU.

Going into today's game, TB Hugh Charles has 2,352 career rushing yards, ninth all-time at Colorado. Charles needs only 16 more rushing yards to pass Bobby Anderson into eighth place and 136 yards to move into seventh place (replacing Herchell Troutman).  

Colorado is coming off of a 31-26 win over Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas last week. The Buffaloes are looking to become bowl eligible with a win today over the Tigers.

The Colorado Buffaloes (5-4, 3-2 Big 12) are taking on the No. 9 ranked  Missouri Tigers (7-1, 3-1 Big 12) in a conference matchup at Folsom Field.
