MBB Hosts New Orleans Wednesday Night
BOULDER ? The University of Colorado menGÇÖs basketball team will look to break a two-game losing streak this Wednesday, Dec. 12 against the University of New Orleans at the Coors Events Center. Tip will be 7:07 p.m. and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain.
The Buffaloes (5-4) will host their fourth home on the season and are led by seniors Marcus Hall (14.0 ppg.) and Richard Roby (13.4 ppg.). Hall and Roby have scored double-figures seven of nine games.
The Privateers represent the Sun Belt Conference and bring a 5-1 record into Boulder. This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools. CU is 64-32 (.667) against the Sun Belt and Wednesday is their second meeting of the season against the Sun Belt having defeated Denver, 54-44 back on Nov. 27.
After WednesdayGÇÖs home game, Colorado will be idle until closing out its non-conference road schedule traveling to Colorado State on Saturday, Dec. 22. CSU has won the last two games against the Buffs and will be looking for their first three-game win streak in the series since 1951. Coach Bzdelik teams are 4-0 against the Rams.
