BOULDER ? The University of Colorado tennis team will take on the University of Denver Pioneers, Friday at noon in a non-conference match at the Colorado Athletic Club?Monaco.

The match originally scheduled at the Stapleton Tennis Pavilion (1 p.m.) was moved inside due to the inclement weather in the Denver metropolitan area.

The Buffaloes are the No. 30 nationally ranked team in the latest Fila/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings and bring an 11-6 record into the match. CU is on the tail end of a seven-match road trip covering four states that has left them 1-3 after four matches.

DU brings a 10-6 record into the match and have won five of its last seven matches under first-year head coach Amy Jensen. The Pioneers are No. 44 nationally.

CU head coach Nicole Kenneally is in her eighth season and is the second winningest women’s tennis coach with 86 victories.

Both schools have one nationally ranked singles player among the ITA’s top-125 standouts.

CU is lead by No. 42 Monica Milewski with a 12-5 dual match record (21-8 overall), while DU has the No. 125 ranked player in Ute Schnoy, who is 9-7 this spring.

Since 2003, both schools have split the last four meetings.

The Buffaloes close their road trip at Kansas State (April 14) and Kansas (April 15) before ending the regular season portion of the schedule with Oklahoma and Nebraska on April 21 and April 22, respectively.
