BOULDER ? University of Colorado women’s basketball teammates Whitney Houston and Brittany Spears will be featured during ESPN’s College GameDay show on Saturday, Jan. 12.
The segment, which was filmed in Boulder and Columbia, Mo., earlier this week, is scheduled to air at 9:35 a.m. MST during the hour-long GameDay slated for 9 a.m. on ESPN2.
ESPN reporter Chris Connolly sat down with Houston, Spears and CU head coach Kathy McConnell-Miller on Monday afternoon at the Coors Events Center. A GameDay crew also shot several fun scenes with the Buffs’ duo who share names with pop celebrities, including a paparazzi which surrounded Houston and Spears as they tried to enter the arena.
Colorado continues Big 12 Conference action by hosting Iowa State University on Sunday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m., at the Coors Events Center.
