MBB Hosts Cornhuskers Tuesday
BOULDER ? The University of Colorado menGÇÖs basketball team will look to even their Big 12 Conference record at one hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the Coors Events Center. The game begins at 7:07 p.m. and will be televised by Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain.
The Buffaloes (8-7, 0-1 Big 12) are coming off an 86-69 road loss at nationally ranked Texas A&M last Saturday, while the Cornhuskers also look to rebound following a 79-58 home loss to Kansas. Nebraska (11-3, 0-1) will be looking for its first road win in three attempts and are led by senior center Aleks Maric, who leads the ?Huskers in scoring seven times and a 16.4 points per game average.
Colorado is coming off a season-best 62 percent from the field at Texas A&M. ItGÇÖs the first time CU has shot over 60 percent since making .627 against Mercer in 2005-06 and .611 percent against a Big 12 foe since 2002-03 against the Aggies. CU will look to even its home record at four and break a two-game losing skid.
The game will also feature a halftime presentation by the CMT show, THE ULTIMATE COYOTE UGLY SEARCH. The final four cast members from the show will be making their final appearance at halftime.

MOVING UP IN HISTORY: With his season-best 27 points against Tulsa on Jan. 7, Richard Roby moved into fifth place on CUGÇÖs all-time scoring list. With 1,703 points, Roby is 24 points from passing Stevie Wise for fourth overall. Wise played 119 games and scored 1,727 points (14.5 avg.) from 1988-91.
