'Coats For Colorado' Coat Drive

BOULDER -- The University of Colorado Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is sponsoring a coat drive to donate to the ?Coats for ColoradoGÇÖ campaign at several upcoming home events.

 

The 'Coats for Colorado' campaign, organized by Dependable Cleaners and Channel 7, will allow CU fans to donate a new or gently used coat(s) for the drive at these three home events:

  • Friday Oct. 10 -- CU Soccer vs. Texas, 4 p.m. at Prentup Field
  • Saturday, Oct. 11 -- CU Volleyball vs. Texas, 6:30 p.m. at Coors Events/Conference Center
  • Saturday, Oct. 18 -- CU Football vs. Kansas State, 5 p.m. at Folsom Field

The first 100 people to donate coats at the soccer game will receive a FREE pair of Crocs Flip-Flops. Those donating at the volleyball match will receive $1 admission.

 

Coat collection at the soccer game will run from 3-4:30 p.m. at the main entrance to Prentup Field and the volleyball match collection will run from 5:30-7 p.m. at the northwest (main) entrance of Coors.

 

Several locations to donate coats will be available at the Oct. 18 football game. Donation stations will run from 2-5:30 p.m. and will be located at:

  • Duane Physics Building
  • Carlson Gymnasium
  • Franklin Field
  • Franklin Drive
  • Math Building
  • Parking Lot 360 (Across from Gates 4/5)

Coats will be donated to Dependable Cleaners to be cleaned and distributed to charitable organizations, homeless shelters and thousands of Coloradans in need.
